The “I Ching” – for many – is thought to be the oldest sacred text in existence. It comes from Ancient China.
Translated, it is called The Book of Change.
In its simplicity, it is a very complicated text, which is composed of 64 figures, each called gua or hexagram.
The gua is composed of six lines representing
yin and yang energy.
And, depending on the process being used, particular line(s) will be in focus at that given time.
Each gua carries a meaning, and each line magnifies the meaning.
I Ching Astrology is a methodology which captures the energies of the times in various ways.
This technique has been used by Rev. Mary Ann Tourjee in her deep study of the times of the USA.
Specifically, it examines the energies of the years and of six day segments within each year.
It is an exploration of the ebbs and flows of cycles in the life of the country, its leaders, and people.
